Please preserve those characteristics as you refine him. I’d like Snook to be slightly less theatrical in his clothing. Please simplify the bow tie and waistcoat somewhat while keeping the old-school British academic appearance. Most importantly, his default expression should convey intellectual superiority, mild irritation and amusement—as though he cannot quite believe he has been forced to answer such a ridiculous question. Please don’t make him overtly angry. Maybe one eyebrow raised as if he can’t believe he has to answer this question. If it doesn’t work - your best judgement. Also, please don’t make him younger, cleaner or more conventionally handsome as you refine him. The age, wrinkles and unruly appearance are part of the character. I really like the raised-hand gesture for one version. However, I’d also like the primary/master character artwork to have a more neutral hand/arm position so that we can animate and reuse the character in many situations. Let me know your thoughts.
