The map of Elderwood should feel like an actual old adventurer's map that exists inside your world—not a clean modern game map. I’d picture it as something a cartographer carefully drew by hand over years of exploration. 🗺️ Overall appearance Old, slightly yellowed parchment, with uneven edges and subtle stains. Hand-drawn ink illustrations rather than perfectly precise lines. A mixture of dark brown, muted green, blue, and faded red ink. Small handwritten notes and symbols scattered around the map. A decorative compass rose in one corner. A few little drawings of trees, mountains, castles and creatures around important landmarks. The map should be detailed enough that you could imagine actually navigating with it. 🌲 The center — Elderwood Village At the heart of the map is Elderwood Village, surrounded by a huge cluster of illustrated trees.
