This is a dining area that we would like to redesign. The butcher block worktop will be moved approximately 30 cm to the left, toward the kitchen. The shape of the countertop will be modified: instead of having a waterfall edge, it will feature a lowered surface at a height of 75 cm. The countertop will also function as part of the cabinet design. In the attached drawings, each image shows a different elevation view. The cabinet will be designed in a rustic style. The lower section will have solid, closed cabinets. The upper section will feature hinged glass doors. Cabinet depth: approximately 40 cm Cabinet width: 80 cm Wall width: 100 cm The cabinet finish will be in a light brown tone that complements the natural wood tone of the butcher block. Seating should be arranged around the butcher block, as it will function as a dining table. Currently, the butcher block height is 90 cm. We would like to lower it to 73 cm, which is standard dining table height. The existing lighting fixture above the butcher block should be removed. Instead, install a black track lighting system with adjustable spotlights.
