This section has a depth of 70 cm. The washing machine sits directly on the floor. Above it, there is a pull-out shelf designed to hold a laundry basket for easy unloading of clothes from the dryer. Above the pull-out shelf is the dryer. Above the dryer, there is a cabinet with hinged doors. On the right side, there is a lower cabinet unit with a depth of 55 cm. This unit is divided into a combination of narrow drawers and wider drawers. Above this base cabinet, there is a white countertop. Above the countertop, the wall is finished with a herringbone-style tile backsplash. Above the countertop area, there is an upper cabinet that includes an open rectangular shelf. The shelf dimensions are 25 cm in height, 178 cm in width, and 25 cm in depth. The depth of both the upper cabinet and the shelf is 25 cm. The back panel inside the open shelf is not plywood; it is also finished with herringbone-style ceramic tile, matching the backsplash. The entire cabinet unit is finished in natural birch wood.
